Node.js Events

Node.js event library for Redelay — coming soon.
Coming soon. The @redelay/events Node.js library is in active development. It will consume the same AsyncAPI schemas and event envelope format as go-events.

What to expect

  • defineEvent<T>() — declare events with TypeScript payload types
  • redelay.on(event, handler) — register a handler
  • redelay.publish(event, payload) — publish with correlation-id tracing
  • Pluggable transports — Kafka (default), NATS, Redis Streams, in-memory for tests
  • Middleware chain — filters, retry, dead-letter handling
  • AsyncAPI 2.6 schema generation from TypeScript event definitions

Until then

Use go-events today — the Node.js library will publish and consume the exact same events once it ships.
