Python Framework
Python SDK for Redelay — coming soon.
1 min readReference
Coming soon. The Python SDK is in active development. It will share the same event schema, AsyncAPI contract, and FlowDSL runtime as the Go framework, so Go and Python services will interoperate on day one.
What to expect
The Python framework will provide:
- FastAPI-based application bootstrap with module registry
- Event publishing and consuming with type-safe
BaseEventPayload(Pydantic) @redelay_event_subscriberdecorator for handler registration- Multi-database clients — MongoDB, ClickHouse, Redis
- AsyncAPI schema generation
- FlowDSL runtime — node resolution from
.flowdsl.yamlfiles - Distributed cron scheduler with MongoDB leader election
- Pluggable transports — Kafka, NATS, Redis Streams
Until then
Use the Go framework today — every piece of the framework (events, FlowDSL, modules, scheduler) is production-ready in Go and will be schema-compatible with the Python SDK.
